Do Sperry Boots Run True To Size
I'yard buying some topsiders online and accept no clue as to whether I should buy a 7.v (my regular shoes size pre-twins) or an 8 (what seems to fit amend now post-twins). Since having kids I actually oasis't bought too many new pairs of shoes, and then before I beat out out the money (they're not cheap!) I want to know if they are truthful to size or run small/big. Does anyone know?

They run true to size for me. I am a 7.five. I have a pair of gold deck shoes and a pair of wedges and both are truthful to size.

They run true to size. OP, information technology is normal for feet to grow and stay that way post-kids. I'd go with the 8. In summer as well, feet also swell more.

How long has it been since your twins were born? I was a 7.5 before baby, then closer to an 8 after, only only for a year or two. DS is five now and 7.five are definitely the correct size for me over again. Topsiders are the kind of shoe that one tends to own for years, so something to consider.

Wow, y'all all must be so young! For those of us in our tardily thirty or early 40s, those shoes bring back bad memories of girls in corduroy pants embossed with whales or ducks! Preppy Handbook, anyone? It'due south difficult to believe that some of these things are considered stylish again. Enjoy your shoes, but please promise that you won't also plough up the color of a pink polo shirt!

Accept to mention that there are true preps who have spent their unabridged lives wearing this stuff and those who come across prep as a style statement. I accept worn topsiders for over 40 years and consider them to be classics and part of a basic wardrobe. They never go out of style and are very comfortable and functional.
OP, you never mentioned the make you lot are considering. If Sperry, they run true to size.

PP, hither. Oops, just saw the forum title. Yep, true to size. The leather stretches out easily just the length stays the same. Feet always swell more in the summer then I'd get with the viii'southward.

Thank you all!
To the anti-prep pp, I'm non that young although perhaps younger than yous based on your comments. I've been away in Texas for virtually 20 years and abased my New England prep attire when I moved southward to the land of cowboy boots and flip flops. My feet get terribly dry now when I wearable flip flops so I figured some chic patent leather topsiders would non just wait proficient on the outside, only brand my feet wait great, besides!

You lot don't need to offer an explanation for why you want to wear sperry's. "True preps" don't brag about how long they've been preppy anyhow.

Lamentable but they went out of style a long long time ago.

They were huge on me. I usually habiliment five.5 to 6.5 and the 5 was too big.

They run true to size, but I've establish that they stretch out over time (they last forever!). Plus, you don't clothing them with socks, so y'all don't need to allow for that. My only other recommendation is to be careful to get the archetype kind with the leather lining if you want to vesture them for a long fourth dimension. Some of their newer styles take foam arch supports, which are more comfy, but which tin can get smelly when worn without socks.
I dearest my one-time Sperry's, but if you desire REALLY comfy, classic boat shoes and don't mind spending a fleck more than, wait at duBarry.

Don't call up they run true to size. Ever have been way bigger on me.
